CLIMBING SITE:
DWS (Deep water solo) is rock climbing that begins from the sea and ends with jumping or falling in the sea. This kind of climbing without belay or any equipment except the climbing shoes requires preparedness to fall in the sea and a lot of swimming and floating. This DWS rock is located in Zaton near the beach Šarina draga in the canyon of river Krka, it’s oriented south so it’s in the sun the whole day which makes it, in combination with refreshing jumping in the sea, a perfect summer sea-climbing adventure.
TOUR PLAN:
We start at the climbing tower Vertikala at 10 AM or we can arrange a meeting point on the parking lot next to the beach Šarina draga on the eastern end of Zaton. Trip to the parking lot is a 20 minute drive, and the climbing site is right next to the beach. When we arrive there will be a quick lesson about DWS in general, and during the whole tour you will be accompanied by experienced instructors who will give you their full attention and consultation. We recommend that you bring a snack and water on the tour, 1 liter per person.
